What will we work on?

This program is tailored to meet the specific needs of you and your puppy. While every plan is personalized, the following topics are commonly covered:

  • ​Understanding Puppy Behavior: Insights into doggie psychology to help you better understand your pup.​​

  • Potty Training: Helping your pup learn where they should and shouldn't go to potty. 

​

  • Puppy Nipping: Teaching bite inhibition and appropriate play.

​

  • Recall: Building a reliable "come when called" response.

​

  • Management & Enrichment: Addressing chewing, crate training, and providing mental stimulation.

​

  • Resource Guarding: Preventing and addressing guarding behaviors around food, toys, or spaces.

​

  • Basic Cues: Foundations for essential cues like "drop," "sit," "down," "stay," and "touch."

​

  • Leash Walking: Teaching polite leash manners for enjoyable walks.

​

  • Socialization: Introducing your puppy to new people, dogs, environments, and experiences like grooming, handling, and wearing harnesses.

  • Behavior Prevention: Although it might not feel like a pressing issue yet, I am well-versed in how "problem" behaviors arise. Having a puppy gives you the unique opportunity to lay the groundwork now to prevent common challenges later—saving you and your pup unnecessary stress and frustration in the future.

How does it work?

Day Training:
4 weeks | 3 times a week |12 sessions |$1980

Enjoy the convenience of accelerated learning with me, the professional trainer, setting the foundation for your puppy’s success. Perfect for busy owners, this program jumpstarts your puppy’s skills while you focus on the up keep. Homework between sessions ensures long-lasting results and strengthens the bond with your pup without having to be a dog trainer!

 

Coaching:
12 weeks | 1 time a week |12 sessions |$1800

A slower-paced option designed for those who want to take the lead in their puppy’s training journey. With weekly sessions, progress relies on consistent practice and dedication at home. This program works best for owners who have the time and energy to dig deep and dive in.
